Nigel didn't choose the hotel life. The hotel life chose him. After surviving years of substandard hospitality, including beds that felt like ironing boards, showers that doubled as saunas and freezers (often in the same 30 seconds), and of course... absolutely no mint on his pillow, Nigel knew he had a higher calling.

🛏️ The Origin Story

Once upon a time (last Thursday), Nigel checked into a "4-star" hotel, only to be greeted by a suspicious stain, a broken kettle, and a room that smelt like boiled cabbage and despair. That was his breaking point. He threw down his room keycard (which never worked anyway), stormed out (after three attempts at unlocking the door), and vowed to expose the madness.

No Mint On My Pillow was born — a brutally honest, deeply unserious, painfully accurate review site for hotels that can’t quite get it together.

💼 What He Does

As CEO, Nigel spends his time travelling the UK, staying in places that range from “unexpectedly decent” to “genuine crime scene.” He documents everything — from limp breakfasts and elevators that squeak ominously, to customer service reps who speak exclusively in passive-aggressive sighs.

Armed with sarcasm, a camera, and very low standards, Nigel offers hotel reviews so honest, TripAdvisor had to block him (twice).
